Calling Us to Active Justice
Justice is not passive. It requires active construction—dismantling what harms, building what heals. The arc of the moral universe does not bend itself; we bend it through deliberate, sustained action.
This orientation shapes my work. In research, I have diagnosed why “equal” rules fail to produce equal opportunity — uncovering the hidden mechanism of social network discrimination that systematically disadvantages members of smaller groups. In policy, I have translated those findings for decision-makers. And in community with Todaydream®, I am building the connections that turn insight into impact.
